Organizational structure of the Chamber of Commerce of Polish Importers (IGIP)
The Chamber of Commerse is a self-governing body of entrepreneurs.
We exist and operate because we feel we need it.
The Chamber is managed by the Chamber Management Board under the supervision of the Chamber Council.
You can’t be a IGIP member, but you can be a IGIP partner. It’s so much more!
Grups
What are Groups?
Groups are composed of representatives of IGIP Partners – each from a specific industry. The work conducted within each Group focuses on issues common to that group. Issues common to all Group members, posing challenges or relevant to current operations, are addressed. Sections are created by IGIP Partners, with the option of co-opting individuals specializing in a given topic to join the Group.
To establish a Group, an initiative from at least two IGIP Partners expressing their willingness to establish it is required.
Why does working in a Group make sense?
Companies that compete daily recognize the need to collaborate to solve common problems. Based on their activities to date, we can confidently say that the Groups are an excellent, competent, and efficiently functioning forum for consultation and exchange of experiences among specialists in a specific industry. New ideas and refined solutions are also more readily available within a Group.
The Groups are therefore a neutral platform for cooperation and information exchange, provided and operated by IGIP. The Groups prepare opinions and positions as an advisory body to the Chamber’s Management Board. The Groups allow IGIP to express its position externally on matters relevant to a given market sector or industry.
